Hello Everyone,

Now a few weeks in to the semester, we are all back into the swing of things and having a great time. The kids and teachers are having a blast ice skating. Our reading groups continue to go well; your students' skills are growing each week in sounding out new words, memory recall, and parts of speech. In Science the Bears and Rockets have been learing about the Solar System from Mr. Walker while in Theme Class Mr. Clark is working on journal writing as well as teaching about the holidays of January and February (Chinese New Year, Groundhogs Day, and the 100th Day of School). As promised, we have posted some pictures of your students at work. Some are working on shape tessellations while others are pictured with of their writing projects. Until next time...

Welcome Back!

We are happy to have everyone back from the holiday break. School is going quite well, we are introducing new topics to the students including journal writing, fractions, and parts of speech; we have also started our ice skating program! We have posted a few pictures of our first ice adventure, there will surely be more to come. It has been great to have our students back at CLASS Academy, we are looking forward to a great semester!

We are keeping our fingers crossed that school will begin tomorrow without any delays or closures!  If Portland Public School (PPS) are delayed tomorrow we will open at 10am, but will remain open regardless whether or not PPS closes on short notice.  If PPS is closed, we too will be closed.
